Privacy policy

Before Dan from Todai implemented the Success Team, his biggest challenge was not knowing what was important to focus on regarding employee satisfaction. He lacked insight into his employees' well-being, so he could act and address potential issues before they grew too large. Dan also faced the challenge of not having a natural process for taking a structured overview of how the team was doing. This was especially problematic for Dan, who is the CEO of a startup and therefore has much more than management as his responsibility.

  1. A) details about the user's use of the Platform, such as date, time, location, frequency, and duration of use; B) additional information from the user's employer where necessary to verify the user's eligibility to access and use the Platform; C) technical information about the user's device, including IP address, URL clickstreams, unique device identifiers, operating system, and network and browser type, for system administration and analytical purposes; and D) other information about the user's use of the Platform, such as the pages visited, time spent on the Platform, and data files uploaded. We take our responsibility to protect users' information and privacy very seriously, and we will only use this information as necessary to provide and improve our services to users. This information may be linked to the user's profile, which is relevant to facilitate these services.

Information we collect from employees:

We may receive personal information about our users from their employers or through their use of the Platform. This may include their name, age, business email address, company phone number, job title, seniority level, department, start date of employment, year of birth, and immediate manager. This information is used to create a user profile that enables access to the platform and facilitates the sending of surveys, feedback requests, and other communications. Protecting our users' privacy and confidentiality is our top priority. We ensure that individual survey results are never published and only present aggregated data based on a normal distribution. Our approach to data analysis combines data from multiple users to generate statistical summaries that highlight trends and patterns while maintaining the anonymity of our users.

If we intend to use individual responses in the future, we will only do so to provide users with insights into their own well-being, with their explicit consent. We take all precautions to protect the privacy and security of their information and do not share individual information with third parties or use it for other purposes.

We are committed to maintaining the highest standards for protecting our users' privacy and will continue to prioritize the security and confidentiality of their information at all times.

User rights

Under GDPR, users have certain rights regarding their personal data. Successteam is committed to respecting and protecting these rights. Users therefore have the right to access, rectify, delete, and restrict the processing of their personal data. Users also have the right to object to the processing of their personal data and to data portability. To exercise these rights, users can contact the Success Team using the contact details in this privacy policy. The Success Team will respond to any request to exercise these rights in accordance with the requirements of GDPR. Please note that in certain cases, we may be unable to accommodate a user's request, for example, if it would conflict with our legal obligations or if we have a legitimate interest in processing the data.

Contact us if you wish to exercise any of these rights.

How long do we store your personal data:

If your employer removes you from their work area, we will retain your data to allow you to access historical data at a later date, for example, to track personal well-being or to bring data into a new work area with a new employer. However, if you delete your personal account, we will anonymise or delete your personal data.

We will not retain your personal data longer than is reasonably necessary to fulfil our obligations under this privacy policy or in accordance with our legal rights and obligations. Please note that aggregated and anonymised data, as well as any information that is not personal data, may be retained indefinitely.

We may also aggregate information collected offline in connection with the service, obtain non-personally identifiable information from third-party sources (as defined in Art. 4 No. 10 GDPR), and develop aggregate information by anonymizing previously collected personally identifiable information.

It is possible that when collecting non-personally identifiable information through automated means, we may inadvertently collect or receive personally identifiable information that is mixed in with the non-personally identifiable information. Although we will make reasonable efforts to prevent such inadvertent data collections, the possibility still exists. If you believe that we have accidentally collected your personal information, please notify us at info@successteam.com.
